APS 15th Industrial and Organisational Psychology Conference – Transforming the World of Work

As DIOP continues to strengthen its network with other professional bodies both within and beyond our region, we are excited to share with you the 15th Industrial and Organisational Psychology Conference—Transforming the World of Work, hosted by our partner, College of Organisational Psychologists, APS.

The conference will take place in the vibrant city of Perth, Western Australia, from Thursday, 24 October to Saturday, 26 October, 2024. Don’t miss the fantastic opportunity to engage with global experts and explore the latest trends and research in Industrial and Organisational Psychology, and its adjacent disciplines.


We want to highlight a few esteemed experts who will be delivering keynote addresses:

  • Dr Jon Whittle will kick-off the conference with a keynote address on AI and the Future of Work.
  • Finishing off the first day, Sophie Howe will address the following: Protecting the wellbeing of future generations – lessons from Wales.
  • On the second day Professor Dr Filip Lievens will focus on Talent Assessment in the 21st Century: Progress and Challenges.
  • Professor Marylène Gagné will provide a keynote on the future of compensation from a motivational perspective on the third day.
  • Finally, Professor Michael Leiter will provide a keynote address: Burnout as a Relationship Crisis.

In addition to the keynote speakers, we are proud to announce that our local experts will also be joining the conference:

Dr Clara To and her co-presenter Jack Wong will present their collaborative project, “Personality’s Role in Cultivating PsyCap: Developing a PsyCap-Based Assessment for Positive Transformation” on Day 2.
